The Jury:

Ari Davidovich - Director, Producer and cultural entrepreneur. Among his films: Bird in the Room (Special Mention at the Haifa Festival 2015), My Champion and Waiting for Godik. Producer and artistic director of Israeli Doc Challenge, an annual short documentary competition (2009-2014) and Executive producer of Made for Web digital project (2013-2016). Initiated and produced line of master classes and seminars in the field of cinematic creation with world leading speakers such as Robert McKee and Ivana Chubbuck. Ari is Graduate of Haifa University in Psychology with an MA in Mass Communication from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

Paul Poet - The leading Austrian political filmmaker and "genre champion" according to IndieWire, Paul Poet is an internationally acclaimed film director and author, studied philosopher, curator and journalist. Born in Saudi-Arabia, Poet makes his home in Vienna and comes to Haifa with his new documentary, My Talk with Florence. Other documentary credits include Empire Me and Foreigners Out! and Poet is currently working on his first narrative feature film, produced by Ulrich Seidl. He also writes a Science-Fiction-satire as his debut novel for Random House.

Shosh Shlam - Director and producer, Shosh Shlam holds an MA in Comparative Literature from Bar Ilan University. She also graduated from the Theater Department of Tel Aviv University, took Uta Hagen’s Acting Class at HB Studio in New York and studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York. Her credits include Web Junkie (2013); Good Garbage (2010), winner of the Best Documentary Award at the Shanghai Festival and at FICA Brazil; Be Fruitful and Multiply (2007) and Last Journey into Silence (2003).
