In a small eel-farming town in the west of Greece, two women live solitary lives. Police chief Elisabeth is still resentful about relocating from Athens ten years ago; Rita is a captive of her social status and her manipulative brother, the star of the local disco. When a sudden death tears the town apart, the two women have a chance to become each other’s saviors.
