Golf was a family business for proud Scotsman Tommy Morris and his son, also named Tommy. They helped define the rules of the modern game and won eight Opens between them in the late 1800s.

Filmmaker Jason Connery turns the true story of father and son into a captivating period drama with beautiful attention to detail and a fascinating look at the early days of professional golf. At the heart of the film is a towering performance of Peter Mullan as old Tommy.
