The 24th Haifa International Film Festival - Awards

Three Monkeys by Nuri Bilge Ceylan (Turkey/France/Italy 2008) won the Golden Anchor Competition Award. Producer: Zeynep Ozbatur. The jury awarded a Special Mention to Armin by Ognjen Svilicic (Croatia/Bosnia-Herzegovina/Germany 2007).

The Haifa Cultural Foundation Award for the Best Film in Post-Production, whose plot takes place in Haifa and/or made by a Haifa-based filmmaker, was divided between two filmmakers. Between Two Passovers by Sharon Levy won the First Prize, in the sum of 15,000 NIS. Producers: Yariv Mozer, Sharon Levy. Protected Spaceby Oren Gvili won the Second Prize, in the sum of 8,000 NIS. The Green Movie – Cinema with Responsibility Production Award in the sum of 370,000 NIS was awarded to Shavshevet Enoshit by Danny Verete. The project was initiated by Channel 8, the Gesher Multicultural Film Fund and the Haifa IFF. Jerusalem – Yoman Sadeh by Amir and Sharon Balabanwon a special prize of 30,000 NIS
