Lupin III, the world's most daring thief, pulls off a heist at a Monte Carlo casino. But when he discovers the loot is nothing more than a pile of counterfeit bills, he follows the trail to a nefarious count in the tiny country of Cagliostro. Joined by his loyal companions, Lupin travels to Cagliostro, where he encounters a beautiful but unhappy princess. As he works to unravel the count's secrets, Lupin is drawn into a deeper mystery.
