Prague, 1968. As the Prague Spring uprises, the secret services target the public radio station where Tomáš works. He must protect his revolutionary brother Pavel and finds himself obliged to face History - especially when the station broadcasts a confidential recording.

The gripping period drama Waves, set during a pivotal moment in modern Czech history, won the Audience Award at the 2024 Karlovy Vary Festival. Centered on the importance of family and free press, the film paints the screen in warm colors as it “unfolds like a ticking time bomb of a spy thriller” (Variety).

Filmography: On the Roof (2019), To See the Sea (2014).
