The new film from French-Jewish filmmaker Rebecca Zlotowski (Other People's Children) premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, where it was widely praised for its sensitive performances, intelligent and surprising screenplay, and the fascinating look into one of the most interesting professions: psychology. Jodie Foster – in her first French-speaking role – stars alongside some of France's leading actors in a drama about the human heart, and about what we remember and forget.

When renowned psychiatrist Lilian Steiner learns of the death of one of her patients, she is deeply troubled, convinced that foul play was involved. Torn between the demands of her patients, her son, and her ex-husband, she decides to investigate. But where will her investigation lead? And could she have prevented the tragedy?

Filmography: Other People's Children (2022), An Easy Girl (2019), Grand Central (2013).
