Man-su, a specialist in paper manufacturing with 25 years of experience, is so satisfied with life that he can truthfully tell himself, “I’ve got it all.” Happily passing his days with his wife Miri, their two children, and two dogs, he is suddenly informed by his company that he has been fired. Dreading unemployment, Man-su devises a unique plan to secure a new job: eliminate his competition.

The new film from Korean master Park Chan-wook has enjoyed great success at the leading fall festivals. Park adapts the novel by Donald E. Westlake, casts megastar Lee Byung Hun in the lead, and “presents a wildly enjoyable picture that balances psychological tension against giddily hilarious comic set pieces” (Screen).

Filmography: Decision to Leave (2022), Oldboy (2003), Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance (2002).
