Double Panther

The true story of Yaakov Elbaz, a criminal recruited by police superintendent Avraham Turjeman to infiltrate the Black Panthers as a mole. However, Elbaz becomes enamored with the cause, identifies with its values, and is caught in a duplicitous game that threatens to destroy his life. Double Panther is a crime drama about the protest that changed the State of Israel.

“Double Panther”, which is based on archive materials and police files that had remained confidential for over 40 years and only recently came to light, presents the human drama of the Panthers through the true characters and the conflicts that arise within any group. This is a universal story of a man who infiltrates an organization as a mole, and gradually comes to identify with its goals.
