Giorgi can’t come to terms with the fact that his wife Ana has given up on their marriage. He behaves as if the only thing required is some time and some flowers, and then he will be able to return to the family flat where Ana remains with their two young sons. But Ana is not open to reconciliation and, spinning out of control, Giorgi seeks refuge on a small barren island.
Tinatin Kajrishvili’s beautifully crafted family drama offers an accomplished, absorbing, even-handed look at the pain of a marital breakup.
