The year is 1968 and after years of living in Paris with her second husband, Romain Gary, celebrated actress Jean Seberg returns to Hollywood for solitude and work. Her support for the Black Power movement earns the notice of the Feds, who begin monitoring her every move, paying special attention to her affair with married activist Hakim Jamal. Agent Jack Solomon is assigned to Jean's file, only to find his fate dangerously interwoven with her own.

Kristen Stewart gives a searing performance in this biopic of Jean Seberg - an artist destined for fame and crushed by notoriety.
