A young man with a bruised face is discovered in an airport. He says his name is Adrien Legrand, a child who disappeared 10 years ago. As he is finally reunited with his father, gruesome murders are piling up in the region.

Winner of the Palme d’Or at the 2021 Cannes Festival, Titane caused a stir when it premiered, being described by the BBC as “the most shocking film of 2021” for its depiction of sex, violence, and Cronenbergian body horror. French director Julia Ducournau takes us to that untamed place where appetites run dark, using the human body as a vehicle to deconstruct ideas of gender, desire and incredibly dysfunctional family dynamics.

Filmography: Raw (2016).

The film contains scenes that could be disturbing to some viewers.
