His family once called him the devil and forced him to leave for Belgium. Now, fifteen years later, Koffi is about to have his first child with partner Alice. They travel to the Congolese city of Lubumbashi to reconcile with his family, bearing a cash offering. But Koffi receives a welcome that is anything but warm. The family still believes that he is a sorcerer.

In Omen, his first feature film, the Belgian-Congolese rapper and performer Baloji takes inspiration from the professional mourners employed at the death of his father, to tell a vibrant and compelling story.
