The incredible story of a child, bruised by life, who will find his salvation through the love of his dogs. Douglas was abused as a child by his violent father and viciously thrown to the dogs. Instead of attacking him, the dogs came to protect him and became his allies. On a journey to heal from childhood trauma and physical injury, Douglas seeks to find his own path, even if it means bending societal rules.

DogMan, the new film by celebrated filmmaker Luc Besson, comes to Haifa directly from its world premiere at the Venice Festival. Besson wanted to explore the idea of suffering and its only antidote – love - and centered the film around an outstanding performance by Caleb Landry Jones.

Filmography: Lucy (2014), The Fifth Element (1997), Leon (1994), Nikita (1990), The Big Blue (1988).
