Israeli Cinema - Short Films - Jury

Shuki Friedman – Head of Shuki Friedman Productions. The company has produced some of the films of Israel's most successful and well-known directors. Among them: Amos Gitai (Kadosh, Kippur, Kedma, The Promised Land, Rabin: The Last Day, Tramway in Jerusalem), Avi Nesher, Ram Loevy, Yoav Shamir, Igal Bursztyn and Mike Burstyn (Azimuth). Friedman is the founder of the Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival and produced the first three editions of the festival.

Marcin Malatyński - Film producer and academic teacher.  A graduate of The Lodz Film School. Founder and director of the Student Film Festival Lodzia po Wisle. International coordinator of the film development program Passion to Market. Since 2015, Deputy Director and Head of International Relations at the Lodz Film School. CEO of the Indeks Film Studio. Producer of three feature films, including debut film of Jagoda Szelc, Tower. A Bright Day, presented at the Berlinale Forum 2018.

Ofeq Shemer - Independent animator and VFX artist in the Israeli TV and cinema industry. Co-creator of short animation films with Ada Rimon. Their films are made using a combination of tactile and digital techniques, and attention to Audio-Image relations. Shemer is a graduate of the screen-based arts department in Bezalel Academy. Teaches cinema in the School of Visual Theatre in Jerusalem.
