They Were Three

 

Set in a 1924 kibbutz under the British Mandate, this Western drama follows a pioneer painter, a dancer, and a Bedouin poet. When a minor cauliflower theft spirals into an uncontrollable blood feud, these sensitive souls are dragged into a tragic, escalating cycle of violence.

Homesick

On the night of Purim, a young patient in a children’s ward receives a mysterious box from an enigmatic nurse, with a promise that it holds the root of all her friends’ illnesses. Determined to reclaim their health and holiday, five hospitalized kids stage a daring escape. As the runaway kids dodge hospital staff, outsmart the police and evade two thieves intent on claiming the reward for their capture. What begins as a high stakes race across the city to destroy the box becomes a moving journey of friendship.

Forty one years after fleeing France, Zeev lives in Haifa and works as a flower delivery driver. When a woman from his past recognises him during a delivery, he flees north into the raging wildfires. The people he meets confront him with his past and the question: How do you live with guilt?
