When 9-year-old Lucie arrives in Bectoile for the vacations, she has no idea of the adventure that awaits. Her mother, Caroline, is leading an archaeological dig nearby with her colleague Pierrot. Bectoile is also the town where Caroline grew up—and the site of a family secret that Lucie is about to uncover! With the help of her new friend Yann and a very special pair of songbirds, Lucie is determined to delve into her family story.

The Songbirds' Secret is a tender and truly gorgeous children's adventure, created using paper cut-outs in stop-motion animation—a technique not seen in a feature film for over 30 years.

Feature Debut | Age: 7+
