Sisters Nora and Agnes reunite with their estranged father, the charismatic Gustav, a once-renowned director who offers stage actress Nora a role in what he hopes will become his comeback film. When Nora declines, she soon discovers he has given her part to an eager young Hollywood star.

Winner of the Grand Prix in Cannes earlier this year, Joachim Trier’s sixth film is an intimate and moving exploration of family, memories, and the healing power of art.
