“Within my chest, two hearts beat. If one stops, the other will fall silent and die. Part of me is Palestinian, and the other-Israeli.”

Raida Adon, a video artist, actress & painter, carries a heavy genetic, emotional and historical burde. When she tries to escape it, this burden explodes in her art. She is the only Arab with a solo exhibition at the Israel Museum. Despite her success, Raida struggles to find her place as a Palestinian artist in Israel. Her search for belonging takes her to Paris, where she discovers that the European art world struggles to accept her complex identity. Raida has suitcases ready wherever she lives.
