This is Yona's last day at work, after 32 years as a hospital nurse. She arrives with a baked cake and a new hairstyle in honor of the occasion. The opening of the new department at the hospital and an official visit pushes her aside. The retirement party that was so long awaited is being forgotten due to the preparations for the Prime Minister's wife's festive visit, and Yona is repeatedly left out of things alone, just her and the cake.

A story about a family of Arab descent living in a chauvinistic society, one day the father opens the door and finds his daughter standing beaten,she comes in. and treated for wounds, the phone rings, the father answers and receives a threat, tells his wife that their daughter should return home to her husband which creates a confrontation between them. and when they confront in the next room, the girl runs away, the father goes looking for her and he come back without her.

Salma” is a young ambitious Palestinian woman who is trying to find her way towards independence, live her life and break free from her abusive brother "Walid" and her conservative family. “Salma” moves out from her family's house and starts studying at the university. Alas, she experiences contradictions between her way of life and her family's mentality and faces opposition.

The film is based on a true story and attempts to demonstrate the issue of domestic violence that many women suffer from through the eyes of “Salma”.

Squad commander Noah is two days before his discharge. In the meantime, the military routine continues as he and his soldiers patrol the border. Unexpectedly a young Palestinian boy crosses the border fence, is caught and Noah comes face to face with someone who, like himself, just wants to get home.
