Maria has everything. She is a former elite swimmer, a beloved sports commentator, and lives a good life with her husband, Mikael, and their daughter. Mikael has supported her throughout her life, first as her coach and mentor, and later as her husband. But when Maria's friend Janne, who is also an editor, tells her about an upcoming book, everything changes. The book describes a young girl's relationship with her swimming coach, and rumors suggest that it is about Mikael.
