A girl and a whale share a house, but struggle to find a common language. Over the years, they grow alongside each other, trying to understand each other despite their huge differences – in size, in pace, in how they experience the world. Between clumsy attempts at communication and rare moments of intimacy, a special bond forms which is beyond words.

The film begins with a small but positive act performed by Jimmy, a pizza delivery driver, during his work in the city. This act, which seems simple and routine, sets off an unexpected chain of events and incidents that unfold across the city, affecting people, animals, and objects in surprising ways.

By the end of the film, we see how this chain reaction has impacted the world, the characters, and Jimmy himself. One of the key points is the contrast between the randomness of the initial act that triggered the chain, and the magnitude of the impact it ultimately created.
