The Haifa Festival, in collaboration with IDIVE and the Haifa Arts Foundation, is honored to host the Underwater Photographer of the Year Award Ceremony.
Program:
Moderated screening of the best award-winning stills and videos from the fifteen years of the competition.
A meeting with Christian Petron, one of the leading underwater cinematographers of our generation, who worked on The Big Blue by Luc Besson and shot the remains of the Titanic for Discovery. Petron will present some of his favorite films, share his “behind the scenes” experiences, and talk about creating the underwater lighting system for Titanic.
