The mayor of Lyon, Paul Théraneau, is in a bad way. He has run out of ideas. After thirty years in politics, he feels empty. Since we are in France, his team decides that the logical thing would be to hire a brilliant young philosopher, Alice Heimann. A dialogue between Alice and the mayor unfolds, bringing them together and shaking their certainties.

Alice and the Mayor is “a lively, funny and touching exploration of the way we live now through the filter of two generations,” write Lisa Nesselson of Screen.
