After her husband’s death, Corine embarks on a journey into Mongolia as a sound recorder for a documentary. During a ceremony featuring ritual drumming by the shaman Oyun, Corine falls into a deep trance, revealing an unexpected gift: she herself is a shaman.

A Bigger World comes to Haifa directly from its world premiere in the Venice Festival. The film is based on the real-life experiences of Corine Sombrun, a French musician and composer, and examines the place of spirituality in the daily life of Westerners.
