Leshka lives in an Inuit whale-hunting community in Chukotka in northeastern Russia. He is a teenager, chafing at this uneventful life out at the far edge of the world. When the internet arrives in Leshka’s village, the predominantly male population gathers in a shed every evening to watch gorgeous girls thousands of miles away doing erotic dancing. For most of the guys, it's just a bit of fun, but Leshka falls in love with one of the dancers.

Philipp Yuryev’s atmospheric coming of age story has won numerous awards around the world. Vladimir Onokhov makes an arresting screen debut as Leshka.
