Maria lives in a Russian military base in Kyrgyzstan with her son and husband, eagerly awaiting their transfer back home to Russia. Bored and neglected, she develops a close relationship with Captain Krainov, her son’s Judo coach, thus setting up a chain of events that will fatally and irreversibly change the course of all their lives.

Maxim Dashkin’s feature debut, coming to Haifa directly from its world premiere at the Moscow Festival, invites us into the unseen world of military families, a closed society with its hidden mechanisms, and presents an intriguing drama.
