Set in the port town of Dover in the Southeast of England, Mary Hussain suddenly finds herself a widow following the unexpected death of her husband. A day after the burial, she discovers he has a secret just twenty-one miles across the English Channel in Calais. Armed with a bag and his cellphone, she sets off to uncover the truth.

After Love is a remarkable debut, beautifully directed by Aleem Khan. The quality of the writing and performances - Joanna Scanlan is superb as a woman left reeling – will make you feel you truly know these people.
