In Quebrada de Humahuaca, a village near the border between Argentina and Bolivia, the community prepares to celebrate the long-awaited Andean Carnival. Rebellious teenager Cabra devotes all his energy to preparing for the most important dance competition of his life. But the Carnival awakens old demons, and Cabra’s long lost ex-con father reappears after being released from prison and jeopardizes young Cabra’s goals.

Juan Pablo Félix's confident debut sizzles with the energy and beauty of a malambo dance - the gauchos folkloric tap-dance. Martin López Lacci draws on his background as a professional dancer to deliver an impressive performance in his acting debut in the role of Cabra, a young man torn between family and passion.
