Jacob Yi is a Korean immigrant who is determined to make a success of his life in America. Though his wife Monica is deeply skeptical, he moves the family to rural 1980s Arkansas with the hope of creating a viable farm on land that has been historically unproductive. The family dynamic changes with the arrival of their sly, foul-mouthed, but incredibly loving grandmother.

Winner of numerous awards around the world, including the Best Supporting Actress Award at both the Academy Awards and the BAFTA, Minari is a gorgeous, delicate American Dream story, inspired by Lee Isaac Chung’s own upbringing.
