“Empty Handed” shows us as we are, with no filters. The film follows our lives from right before I found out I was pregnant, through checkups, results, heart shattering doubts, life changing decisions and stillbirth and how we had to face the world afterwards and deal with our relationship and our broken hearts. Incorporating my animation to express emotions that are too dense for words. The film was born from the clash between the simple dream of having a baby and it's hitting the harsh reality.
