Young Michael is on a round-the-world sailing trip with his family when a storm strikes. He and his beloved dog Stella are washed overboard and end up on a remote island in the Pacific, struggling to find food and water. Michael soon discovers he's not alone when he encounters a hostile Japanese named Kensuke who reluctantly helps them. As dangerous invaders appear on the horizon, it becomes clear they must join forces to save the island.

Kensuke's Kingdom, adapted from author Michael Morpurgo's best-selling children's novel, is a thrilling animated film, a story of adventure and friendship with a poignant ecological message.
