Once upon a time in a faraway land, Cinderella lived happily with her mother and father. Then her mother died, and her father married a mean woman who had two equally mean daughters, Drizella and Anastasia.  After Cinderella's father died, her stepmother became even more wicked. She turned Cinderella into her personal servant.

The Walt Disney Company celebrates its 100th anniversary in October 2023, and throughout the year celebrates the stories and characters that have created the joy and magic of Disney over the past 100 years.

Walt Disney turned the timeless fairy tale into an unforgettable masterpiece. The film has a keen pace, expert animation, and a sensational score. The rich colors, loveable songs, adorable mice and endearing heroine make Cinderella a nostalgically lovely film and one of the most beloved of all of Disney’s animated features.
