During a bitter 1964 Massachusetts winter, young secretary Eileen (Thomasin McKenzie) becomes enchanted by Rebecca (Anne Hathaway), the glamorous new counselor at the prison where she works. Their budding friendship takes a twisted turn when Rebecca reveals a dark secret, throwing Eileen onto a sinister path.

Based on the book of the same name by best-selling author Ottessa Moshfegh, Eileen is a wildly audacious, wondrously twisted Period Psychodrama. Filmmaker William Oldroyd, in his eagerly awaited follow-up to Lady Macbeth, centers his imaginative and forceful adaptation around a seductive and savage performance from Anne Hathaway and a powerhouse showing from Thomasin McKenzie.

Filmography: Lady Macbeth (2016).
