Anna and Marek are a married couple in their forties, the parents of two teenagers. They are driving from Berlin, where they have been living for the past few years, to Poland, where they were born and raised - to attend a wedding. The moments of closeness and intimacy alongside old pent-up grudges which surface during the trip, do not prepare them for Anna's confession at the end of the journey.
