Yisrael was born into a loving American ultra-Orthodox Jewish family from Jerusalem. As he grew up and discovered that he was attracted to both men and women, everything changed. Yisrael’s parents embraced him, yet to this day they can't accept that he’s bisexual. He is now 28 years old and through this film he is trying to figure out what he is really looking for.

Mahmoud picks up his son Firas from the police station after being arrested for gun possession. He suspects that his son's sudden release is no accident, and forcibly tries to find out from him the circumstances of the investigation and arrest. Stunned, Firas does not cooperate. After a physical fight Firas confesses that he snitched on a member of a known crime family. After Mahmoud contacts a neighborhood arbiter, he and Firas wait for dawn helplessly, expecting the worst. During this time, Mahmoud rediscovers his connection with Firas.

Solomon is a 49-year-old Ethiopian divorcee who has not been able to adapt to the country, has no job and can barely speak Hebrew. His son Jr. is a "tsabar" who lives with his mother in Jerusalem, his relationship with his father has almost disappeared and it is good that he has. In a desperate (and even hallucinatory) attempt to connect, Solomon takes Junior to fish in the Dead Sea.
