DIANA ELBAUM
Diana Elbaum is an acclaimed producer with a career spanning over three decades, marked by
a bold and diverse slate of films celebrated at major international festivals. Beginning her
professional journey in advertising before moving into film production, Diana has produced
and co-produced over 100 feature films and documentaries across a wide range of genres and
cultural landscapes.
In 1989, she founded Entre Chien et Loup, a production company that quickly became a
reference in European cinema. In 2017, she launched Beluga Tree in association with Caviar
(War Pony, Sound of Metal, The Rider, Bad Sisters), further expanding her international
reach.
Diana has collaborated with renowned directors such as Chantal Akerman, Mahamat Saleh
Haroun, Paul Verhoeven, Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, Lisa Azuelos, Raoul Peck, Nabil Ben
Yadir, Ari Folman, Yuval Adler, Eran Kolirin, Isold Uggadottir, and Julie Bertuccelli, Kamal
Lazraq, Agniezska Holland and Solange Cicurel.
In 2009, Diana received the European Film Academy Award for Best Producer.
Beyond production, Diana is deeply invested in nurturing emerging talent worldwide. Since
2007, she has been an expert and mentor with EAVE and currently mentors for programs
including Indaba (Realness Institute), EAVE Access BIPOC , and Elan (Canada). She has
also been invited to speak at leading festivals such as Cannes, Locarno, Sundance and more.
Diana is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS).

Hugo Rosák
Hugo Rosák is Head of the Industry Office at the Karlovy Vary International Film
Festival (KVIFF), where he leads KVIFF Eastern Promises, a platform dedicated to
showcasing film projects from Central and Eastern Europe in development or
production. Each year, over 40 curated projects are introduced to international industry
professionals. He is also the co-founder of KVIFF Talents, a talent accelerator
supporting emerging filmmakers from the region.
Beyond the festival, Hugo collaborates with several European development initiatives.
He works with the Midpoint Institute’s Feature Launch, consults for the First Cut Lab
editing program, and has worked as an expert for the European Commission. He is
also Head of Development at Stairway Films, a Prague-based production company,
and a member of the European Film Academy.
Originally trained in international relations, innovation design and intercultural

management, Hugo now channels his energy into championing ambitious, auteur-
driven cinema.

The Karlovy Vary International Film Festival is the leading film event in the Czech
Republic and the most prestigious festival in Central and Eastern Europe. As one of the
world’s oldest A-list festivals, it annually presents around 200 films and attracts top
filmmakers, buyers, distributors, and journalists from around the globe. Its programming
combines high-profile premieres with bold new voices, creating a space for both
industry and the public to engage with contemporary world cinema.

Agathe Berman
Agathe Berman a.k.a The Pitchologist trains, curates & moderates PITCHING SESSIONS - SeriesMania Forum, Unifrance TV events, Shoot the Book Cannes, Transylvania Pitch Stop, Nouvelles Vagues, Meeting on the Bridge, SerienCamp, …;  and PITCHING WORKSHOPS - SeriesMania Institute, MidPoint, La Femis  … 
As a former partner of Paris-based Films d’Ici and Legato Films, she has produced over sixty films, including award-winning titles by Cédric Klapisch, Louise Hémon, Christophe Honoré, Cyril Brody and Gilles Bannier. 
In Paris Atelier de Sèvres, she preps art students for entering exams of international art colleges.
Since 2018, within her own company, she has been developing her “pitchology” expertise, along with mixed-media projects.

MARIA CHOUSTOVA 
Maria Choustova/producer, casting director. Born in Moscow (USSR). Maria holds
degrees in linguistics and film studies. Moved to Europe in 1993, and has been living in The
Netherlands since 2000. In 2009, Maria started her career as casting director and creative
producer, and in 2013, together with Sergei Loznitsa, launched a film production company,
ATOMS & VOID.
Today, the company holds a catalogue of award-winning titles, most of which premiered in
Cannes and Venice. Currently, alongside her work on producing Loznitsa’s films, Maria
Choustova focuses on expanding the company’s European co-productions portfolio and on
building partnerships with international producers and filmmakers for the purpose of opening
up more opportunities for creative cooperation within Europe and beyond.
Maria is a member of the European Film Academy.
