In Baghdad, a grenade attack on a synagogue killed five Jews and helped accelerate the mass immigration of Iraqi Jews to Israel within months. A forgotten box of documents, left at Yale University by Israeli journalist Baruch Nadel, revives a haunting question: was the assailant a member of the Jewish underground in Iraq, acting on behalf of the State of Israel?
