Natalie, a young, beautiful, and assertive woman, is severely injured in a sea accident and becomes paralyzed, dependent on constant support from those around her. At the rehabilitation center she arrives at, she meets Yosef, a young man from Anata who works there caring for the residents. Despite her initial discomfort with his presence, Yosef’s warmth and empathy gradually ease Natalie’s resistance, and he, in turn, is captivated by her strength and directness. An intimate and liberating bond forms between them within the closed space of the center. But every time the outside world breaks in, their connection begins to crack— as reality tries to pull them apart and restore the familiar order.
