A dark tale. "Madam Yankelova's fine literature Club" is a secret women-only club, whose members despise man and live their life according to their motto - "There is no true love". The club members compete on who brings the most attractive man to their weekly meeting, at the end of which all men are murdered and grinded into hot dogs. When Sophie, an aging member of the club, meets a young attractive man called Joseph, she must choose between her last chance for true love and her commitment to the club.

Madame Yankelova's Fine literature Club, is a dark tale which deals with love and hate, femininity and aging, strong friendship and the ability to say goodbye.  

This debut film by Guilhad Emilio Schenker’s is inspired by the dark themes of the novella "The Mistress And The Peddler" by Nobel award laurate Agnon.
