Sungcheol and his wife Misook run a small town decorating company. They have yet to get over the death of their son Eunchan, who drowned while trying to save a friend’s life. One day, Sungcheol watches as the surviving boy, Kihyun, is bullied by his friends. He intervenes, befriends the seemingly rootless boy, and gives him a job. The three bond, becoming almost a family, until the day Kihyun makes a confession.

In his feature debut Shin Dong-seok tackles death, grief, reconciliation and truth, and handles them all with maturity and fine-tuned narrative skill.
