Giora Getter, a Tel Aviv bar owner and former army officer, receives a visit from his aging father, recently abandoned by Giora's mother for another man. Against the backdrop of Tel Aviv nightlife and the threat of violence, the two awkwardly try to get to know each other. They make an effort to save what remains of their crumbling family and to create the father-son relationship that never truly existed between them.
