Miri Ben Simhon was born halfway between Morocco and Israel, in the city of Marseille. She died, at the age of 46, halfway between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, in a car accident that revealed hints of a suicide. In her life and poetry, she wandered restlessly in busses, taxies and hitchhiked rides, constantly feeling out of place. In a rare recording from 1988, found by chance, Miri reads a touching love letter dedicated to the poet Meir Vizeltir; that is the basis for this film.
