Ingimundur is an off-duty police chief from a remote Icelandic town whose wife died in a tragic accident two years ago. Ingimundur channels his grief into renovating a house but a chance discovery among her things makes him question whether he ever truly knew his wife. Soon, his obsession with uncovering the truth begins to consume him,
