One day in winter, Nena's whole family gathers at her house by the sea to celebrate her birthday. Everyone is there. There’s even Paco, Alma’s peacock, who unexpectedly falls in love with the dove in the painting in the living room: an impossible love that will force the whole family to reckon with their feelings.
Peacock's Paradise comes to Haifa from its world premiere at the Venice Festival. The intelligent family drama is Laura Bispuri's third film and the third to be screened in the program of the Haifa Festival. The cast gathers some of the biggest names in Italian cinema.
