Berlin, 1942. The very existence of 21-year-old Cioma Schönhaus is under threat, but the Jewish graphic artist won't let anyone take away his lust for life, certainly not the Nazis. When Cioma discovers his talent for forging documents - especially passports - he sees this as the ideal way to help not only himself but also others escape deportation.

Based on an extraordinary true story, The Forger celebrates the spirit of a man who refuses to be a victim. The engaging drama finds optimism, compassion and humanity in a weary wartime Berlin and one of the darkest moments of human history.

Filmography: Color of the Ocean (2011).
