On a remote island in Finland, isolated from the world, Elli finds herself caught between her pastor husband and a former lover, who suddenly comes back into her life. The sea, the beach, the lush scenery, all witness her emotional struggle between sense and passion, love and longing.

Aku Louhimies, who wrote the screenplay with lead actress Inka Kallén, presents a modern adaptation of a classic Finnish novel, The Vicar's Wife. The story unfolds against the natural beauty of the Finnish archipelago and Louhimies honored the environment by creating a carbon negative production.

Filmography: The Unknown Soldier (2017), 8-Ball (2013), Frozen Land (2005).
